Thanks for visiting!
I make wheelthrown tableware and ovenware - everything from butter dishes to casseroles and mugs and teapots....
All items are different, in size, shape and colour ways, and can be made to your specification.
I make all my own glazes and currently use a range of blue, green and purple colours, made with cobalt, copper, iron and manganese, and inspired by the North Yorkshire countryside on my doorstep. I use a warm terracotta clay sourced in the UK, and fire my work twice, to 980 and 1080 degrees centigrade, in an electric kiln.
I also make figures of British wildlife, each modelled by hand in the same lovely clay, and all with their own individual personalities. These are available from The Moors Centre, Danby, as well as at my events.
I am available for stalls at Craft Fairs and Events, and I also teach afternoon and evening classes for adults at The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts in Darlington - from beginners to people who want to develop ideas they have worked on for years, all are welcome.
If you want to discuss the classes or order a piece of pottery, please contact me:-
