Thanks for visiting!
I make wheelthrown tableware (mugs, teapots, casseroles etc) and giftware (vases, candleholders, birdfeeders, oil burners etc) and imprinted flatware (trivets, coasters, brooches etc).
All items are different, in size, shape and colourways.
I make all my own glazes and currently use a range of blue, green and oil brown colours, made with cobalt, copper , iron and manganese. I use a warm terracotta clay sourced in the UK, and fire my work twice, to 980 and 1080 degrees centigrade, in a recycled electric kiln.
In addition to the regular range I can make bespoke items (up to 12" in diameter, to fit in the kiln) in additional colours.
I am available for stalls at Craft Fairs and Events, and can also facilitate Pottery Parties in your own home or venue, helping groups of up to 12 make personalised items to treasure.
I teach evening classes for adults at The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts in Darlington - from beginners to people who want to develop ideas they have worked on for years, all are welcome.
If you want to discuss the classes, a party or an event, or order a piece of pottery, please contact me:-
